Inventory Tweaks Mod Review
Inventory Tweaks Mod is a mod that helps you keep your items and blocks organized and sorted. In Minecraft, you often stock up on items that you feel may be needed for future use. You pick up item drops, loot chests and craft items to make you stronger or more powerful. You also collect resources that you can use for crafting weapons, tools, armors or whatever elements you may need. With so many different things to do such as building structures and fighting off hostile mobs and enemies, you eventually end up hoarding items. Unfortunately, having a multitude of items and resources also means that your inventory can get unbelievably crowded and disorganized.
Sorting out your inventory and equipping items you need on your hotkey can get very tedious. There are even instances when you find yourself discarding items or resources that you might actually need later on in the game. This is where Inventory Tweaks Mod comes in. What would normally require numerous clicks can be done with just a single one. You can even consider shortcut keys to take care of sorting and organizing your inventory. It is almost like waving a magic wand and everything is arranged.
Inventory Tweaks Mod saves you time as you get organized a lot faster. This means you can spend more time on other tasks such as exploring, farming or building. But what really sets this mod apart is its auto-refill function. One of the most useful elements in the game is the hotkey bar. All the items such as tools and resources that you can immediately use are often loaded here. It is easier and faster to access. However, when slots on the bar become vacant, you would have to manually go to your inventory to fill it up. For example, if you have a stack of blocks in the hotkey bar and you use them all up, the mod will automatically refill it from your inventory.
The auto refill function also works with tools. If your tools are broken from overuse, Inventory Tweaks Mod will fill up that slot with a similar tool from your inventory. This means you need not manually move the tool to the hotkey bar. So, if you were mining, you can continue to mine uninterrupted. Of course, it will only be able to do that if you are carrying extra tools around.
Another feature that players find impressive about the mod is its sorting function. It delivers the customizable item and chest sorting. One option allows you to sort it so that the best items are on the top. These are the items that would be used to auto-refill your hotkey bar. You can also sort it according to crafting input. The sorting options are easily accessed with the additional key in the menu. With the mod installed, you will find the ellipses button or one that looks like “…” at the upper part of the screen. You can also simply hit the “R” key which is the defaulted sorting hotkey. You can also change this key to whichever you prefer.
