ModReview rates games, mods and gaming gear out of 5. Each review names the game version, the loader and the build it covers, so you can tell whether a mod fits your setup before you install it.

Since 2012
ModReview went online in 2012 with mod reviews for Skyrim, Minecraft and Half-Life 2, rated on a five-star scale. Later versions of the site covered Minecraft mods by game version. The domain then changed hands, and the site relaunched in 2026 with a wider scope and the same scale.
How we work
An editor sets every score. AI tools help with research and fact-checking, and we check the details against the mod’s own page, changelog or documentation. How we score describes the process and the scale.
No developer, publisher or brand pays for a review or a score.
